For some reason, his lordship decided to stop posting his Friday TFND+LT thread, saying it has 'run its course'. I believe this to be nonsense, even though I never posted on it. It was just good to know that it was there - bit like 'The Archers', never listened to it but it's part of the fabric of society.

It's run its course, I think. It was initially quite an interesting read, when anyone posting on it made an effort to make some worthwhile input. - Listing specific tracks plus details of whichever beer/whiskey/wine they were drinking etc.
Sadly, the quality of the posters dropped until a typical post would be "not drinkin nuffink cos I still at work/lissenin to Radio 1" and friendship posters clogging up the thread with their tedious hugs/kisses/xxx chatroom excretions.
The idea is good, but it would need to be removed from the lounge to the music forum to rebuild itself into something worth reading.
