a little bit sceptical about dyno results - (mainly done for set up map, new intake set up, emissions check, run up drivetrain) but to my suprise aparantly standard Ls3 usually shows about 480bhp on Rapid GB dyno... :-)
Oh well whatever.... got a sheet showing 538bhp which i can take down the pub.....all joking aside emissions good, AFR good, trimmed map now good....

Craig,
Those are nice numbers out of an LS3. By all means, post the pics on a public hosting site for us to see. We are car guys and would love to see detail oriented pics of the front/rear suspension, interior, engine compartment.... you're getting the idea.
Thanks,
Paul

As regularly happens I'm confused by the initial post.
You say the "LS3 480 (warmer cam, efi version) normally shows 480 HP on Rapids dyno, but yours has shown 538Hp".
The link to y-tube shows a chassis dyno run. Are you implying your LS3 480 is showing 538...at the wheels?
The GM LS3-480 figures are flywheel quoted.

Very interesting if so...!

Stunning front-end too.

no...... i am saying the standard LS3 shows around 480bhp in UK terms on rapid GB dyno - usually as expected. The LS376/480 hot cam shows around 530bhp in uk terms on rapid BG dyno usually as expected.

Mine was showing just slightly more than normal.

For more info on this contact them direct as for me i am after reliability results rather than outright HP as on a normal UK road 480 / 500 or 600 its still friggin quick...

I am more happy with initial running / map / AFR and set up

Ah..I understand it now, cheers.
Rapid usually get a good 12% more than GM with their mapping etc.
