Really, he was put into his role when he was about 78 or something crazy. Surely the Catholic church would get a much better ROI & wider target audience if they put in a 30 something year old "Pope LITE"

How can you have a 30 year old pope? It's not a marketing gimmick, it's the head of the catholic church hehe

I think it's so that they don't get lumbered with a duff pope for too long.

I cannot wait til we get the "first Black Pope", (who no doubt like all the other "first Blacks" wont be actually black.
