I quite fancy going along to this. Never been before just wondering is it worth paying the extra for a covered grandstand seat?
Nah.If it's wet and you're dry and cosy in the grandstand, the flying will be badly curtailed.
I've been every year for well over 10 years and last year was the first time it's been wet and the flying suffered as a consequence.
Bring your folding chairs and get there 9:00am ish for a space on the rope-line. Too many selfish b's erecting cubanas.
