First time over here, so hi all.

Got the news a couple of weeks ago that we have another baby on the way and we all wont fit in the wedge so i am thinking Cerbera.

Could you guys give me a few buying tips, what to look out for that kind of thing.

I am thimking of a 4.2 late ninteys model. Alawys liked the Cerbs but really love me supercharged wedge also.

Cheers

Rob

Check chassis members carefully for the dreaded rot, and allow around £3000pa for general repairs/upgrades and maintainance.

I bouht a '97 4.2 nearly 3 years ago and it has not cost me a huge amount to run it.

I'm nowhere near a main daler / indie but have a couple of mates who know their way around engines and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty either and I have had very few days where the car was out of action.

You'll need £3k a year if you can't do most of the work on it yourself.

I've probably spent about €1k a year on mine since I got it and that was mostly on consumables (oil / tyres / etc) and upgrades.
