I think I read somewhere that silver cars are for those that 'have given up' !!

Not too sure what that means unless it just means have given up wanting to clean their cars regularly !!

How come you binned the BMW?

I was looking at the ST220 but the Diesel version, I do like the look of them and dirt cheap smile

I do love black cars but they are a PITA! My old MG was black and then I had it sprayed white which was a lot dame easier to keep clean than black, then I brought the HSV which is black, DOH!

Roger, I thought you bought the beemer because of the fuel economy? Surely you might as well have kept the M5 as buy the thirsty Ford? Good choice though, very underrated car.

ST is doing close to 30mpg so Im happy with that. Also got a very very good deal off a mate. 320 was a good car but the ST has all the toys inc Sat Nav etc etc etc and is 2 yrs newer, better condition (immaculate) and nicer to drive to work. smile

Quick Silver.... obviously slang for Slow Ro. wink

My Ro is Odyssey in colour, which is great coz it's parked on the street and doesn't stand out too much. If i had a driveway or a garage however, i would of definately bought a red one......every pic i see of a red Monaro has me virtually weeping! lick

Know exactly how hard you have to work with black...that's why I bought my 'ro in silver. I swore I'd never buy another black car. wink

Silver doesn't show the dirt too much, but I still spend a lot of time keeping it looking it's best.
Incidentally we've also got an ST220....in silver. Very pleased with it! biggrin

Ive always had black and will happily admit wanted a black monaro for goodness knows how long, not sure how I ended up with a red one tbh!

After having black and knowing the pain it is to keep clean the red is also an absolute bugger, it doesnt show the muck anywhere near as bad as black but its a major b*stard to keep that deep red shine to it and takes alot of work!

Yep mines just like that but a booted one not a hatch. Found a private road last night and it seemed to get up to 155 leptons ok. Needs a decent pipe mind as its far to quiet. Looking at a blue flame unless someone recomends something else.

The silver cars may look good but they never achieve the shine you can get on a darker colour.

Blueflame is exhaust is fine, but I think it might be a bit subtle for you. Try Powerflow.
