Drivers footwell damp

Had a hell of a lot of rain 2 nights ago and the car ws out in all of it. Last night when I got home from work, dropped something in the drivers footwell. When i bent down to pick it up, noticed the carpet was wet. No standing water or anything like that but definately more than just a little damp. I've noticed the top of the drivers window occasionaly lets a little drip in and you can see a wet mark on the door card but it's very minor and not enough to make the carpet as wet as it is.

Anyone had this and managed to find the source?

It's almost certainly coming in from the door seal where it runs around the front of the door. Water runs down the A pillar, then where the seal turns toward the front of the car it lets water in. I just made sure the seal on mine was correctly placed, and put a length of rubber tubing inside the seal at that point to pad it out. That seems to have sorted it out for me.
