Picture needed

I don't know what you call the panel below the windscreen, the detachable one which the washer hoses pass through. Mine is currenly held on with a 10mm bolt at either end and a shed load of mastic in the middle. I don't suppose they left the factory this way, I suspect that there should be clips somewhere to locate under the striker plate, if anybody has got the original setup could they take a piccie for me and post it on here so that I can attempt to fabricate same. I am sick and tired of levering this plate off the mastic just to get to the battery.

its called the f1 pannel and in the top right and left corners there should be u shaped clips that grip onto the fibreglass cover that is under the wiper spindel mounts. each clips is about an inch or so long.

thats what mine is like.

you can buy these clips from somewhere, try racing green or tvr power im sure i have seen them on there before, only a few pound nothing drastic.

Thanks guys will give TVR Parts a ring in the morning to see what they've got to offer. I don't like the carbon stuff very much, the car looks better all the same colour. Thanks all the same.
