Steam - anyone else having trouble paying

Just installed Windows on the MacBook to give the new Monkey Island game a bash (You fight like a Dairy Farmer!), courtesy of Steam. When I try to pay, my card is declined. Happened on 2 cards, and the bank tells me they haven't tried to take a payment. Has anyone else had any troubles today?

I had this. Real pain in the arse, I had 4 games in me shopping cart
