944s2 Handling

I've just ordered an M030 rear anti roll bar from my OPC, that was just over £100 which I thought was blinding value.
My car tends to roll more than I'd like, and turn in is a bit less than I would like .'. tighten up the back end first and see what that does for me. I'm also swapping from 220 Turbo to 250 Turbo front springs and struts so that should make a difference and I will get a bit more negative camber dialed in while we are about it.

Consider Bilstein or Koni as my preferred choice over Leda for road use. Unfortunately Koni no longer make the front struts but you can get insertd for the early 944 shock that can be fitted into the later leg if you have a little engineering ability, likewise for the Bilsteins. I think some of the USA 944 specialists have Bilstein converted struts available off the shelf.
My starting point for a road car would be lowered 25mm all round, H&R front springs, Bilsteins & M030 anti roll bars and strut top mounts.

If your turbo is a 220, the rear may already be as big or bigger than an M030 one, as t220 rear anti roll bars measure 18 mm.
On later cars, M030 rear anti-roll bar was either 18 mm (turbo S and some '89 t250) or 16 mm (some '89 turbo, S2 and '90/'91 turbo, with or without M030) or 19 mm adjustable (968 M030).

I've got a set of adjustable Konis from an S2 in the garage if anyone might be interested.
They have been on a car for a few yrs so not mint, but might suit anyone wanting to firm up an S2 suspension on a budget- I'd only want peanuts for em anyway just to get em out the way.
Edited to add, while im still being cheeky & hoping Daz will let my blatent ad slide- on the S2 note ive also got a pair of very good nick S2 front calipers cluttering up the place, oh and apair of 964RS fronts too...
yes yes I know bung 'em in the classifieds, I shall indeed do so soon.

I've got the best part of six cars (none of them whole) cluttering up the sub-rock space, and Mrs. Iguana standing over me with a rolling pin.
Please, please, please take some of it away before I'm clubbed to death.

I think I got a pair somewhere as well, not sure of the history or mileage but they are genuine 944 M030 fronts. So, are you going to get them off Ig or the Strutmeister?
I recommend the Pikey, the way he scoffed at our house I suspect that he needs the funds to buy enough grub for the Christmas table....
