camera unit question
Discussion
If the camera van is parked beside the road, the camera is usually pointed out of the back of the van to catch oncoming traffic. If the van is on a bridge over a motorway it will have the camera pointed out the side of the van. It could be pointed out of either side of the van, so it could be monitoring traffic in either direction.

At Alford one of the demonstration days they had a scamera van and it has cameras on the front, side and back. Means they can get motorbike plates (mostly only being on the back of the bike).
I thought that was the catch with scamera units, they had to get you from the rear otherwise it was biased towards bikes.I take it from Steve's ticket though they've now outed that and will rape you every which way but loose?
Sticking neck out - but I'm pretty sure you'd have heard by now. When I got done on the A9 I heard in 2 days.
Also - there is a maximum time the bill have to get it to you... can't remember but think it's two weeks? (ie today?) If you get one, check that out, as you may well get off on a technicality.

I got caught speeding on the M9 with a camera van it was on the bridge above and took Speed from the front of the car, but i had the letter throw in a matter of day, i was caught doing 85mph in a 70mph. So if u no had letter yet looks like u got away with it, i think they can do it from the front as it not a pic but laser, so it no an invasion of privacy.
