creaking noise

Morning! Noticed recently when you hit the loud pedal theres a creaking noise which even stays there under when your foots held down, very odd..at first i thought it was the turbo but after going out as a passenger last night it could be coming from the front, any ideas? only comes on when the throttles pressed and can only be heard inside the car.

under acceleration or on a flat throttle?

Both, like a squeeky clicking sound very odd.

if it's not a loose heat shield, check you lower front ball joints arnt loose.

Had a squeak from the front that would stop when braking that I think was caused by the bits and pieces in the passenger footwell. Sounded like something plastic was slightly loose.

Could it be related to the boost gauge maybe? its almost like something resonating under throttle..bloody annoying.

Looked everywhere tonight cant find anything loose. Its maybe the turbo but theres no loss of power. When i rev the car stationery theres no noise, drive it along the road and floor it is there. ahhhh

After lookign everywhere for possible causes im still none the wiser. Im starting to think it may be the turbo, even under full boost foot to the floor i can hear it clicking away, im not experiencing any loss of power though. Any ideas?

I wasn't going to suggest this but as you still haven't found the problem you may want to look into it. I had a noise a couple of weeks back, thought it was the turbo but turned out to be a noisy alternater. Sounded like a turbo noise as it only made the sound when the car was boosting. Stuck a new one on and not heard it since!

as above really .i changed my seats and straight after i had a creeking noise.i took the seats out put the old ones back in and was still there.mucked about with the clam position and no joy.as a thought as the car had the suspension off earlier in the year i silicone sprayed the top mount rubbers and it dissapeared.maybe not your sound but you never know

Bump!!

Dealer just rang Turbo gasket gone explaining the noise, fuel sender also gone explaining the loss of fuel gauge. Anyway covered under warranty picking up saturday! Apparently down on power through the turbo problem however it still felt bloody quick on only one!
