Heater fans/controller and engine fans questions

Hello. Wonder if anyone has any ideas about the below faults:
The heater fans in my Sag have recently stopped working. The lights go around the dial but no air comes through the cabin vents. I have located and checked the heater controller unit in the PAS footwell (as according to Graham's manual and a couple of other threads on here) but this "appears" as the same as the various pics I have seen of this unit ie. no melting/fusing of wires/capacitors and no loose connections. I have dis/reconnected this to no avail. I called up Power and they told me that this unit is now "repair only" and I wanted to 100% verify the problem before sending it away. Any other ideas as to what else could be the problem? Dom mentioned that there are a couple of other (fan) controllers down in the PAS footwell, I had a look but couldn't see anything else - any ideas?
Could the heater flap motor or the blower fans failing cause this? Is this a common problem? I didn't see it come up on a search here. It seems like a big job to remove the necessary parts to check these components and I don't think I'm sufficiently equipped to do the job.
Secondly one side of the engine (radiator) fans has a loose connection in the connector - if I wiggle it around a bit I can see some sparks and the fan starts spinning. I want to replace the connector. I have found these:

Does anyone know if these are appropriate and whether 5A is sufficient? If not any ideas where I can get some replacements?

Hi Just because the heater controller looks OK might be a red herring. Mine looked fine turned out to be a poor connection on one of the pins. Only discovered after taking the car to bits to see the heater flap motor running OK!! The heater fans in my Sag have recently stopped working. I've moved my controller so that it's in the cold air flow but the fan still slows down but it seems to do this *only* when the air con is on. If I turn air con off it slowly returns to its normal speed, putting air con back on and after a period of time - could be 5 minutes, could be 30 or more - the fan slows again.
Might have to remove the board and trace the circuit out to see what's going on.

I have a spare controller ready for repair if you would like to have a look at it/ use it etc

Thanks. I took another look at the unit and noticed that the capacitors have bulged tops which most likely indicates damage. I've sent it to Power for repairs.As for the engine fan connectors, I see that the fuses for the fans are rated at 30A. Am I correct in thinking that I need something that are rated at least 30A? The problem is that most of the connectors I have found are max rated at 20A.
