What is supposed to have constituted "hi-res" in 1969?

There was no difference in those days. The original masters of that film (which would be the best "high resolotion" copies of the film that could possibly exist) were on celluloid and are still in the possession of the original film company that made it. The director was interviewed on Radio 4 on Saturday morning.
