Wheel is made by compomotive, tried them they quoted me £660 just for the Rims plus tyres were same again - I know I have seen them somewhere at about £700 all in with Yokohama tyres ... just cant think where !

The Parada tyre is a bit of an odd one from Yokohama. It's designed for the 'tuner' industry. Which is a way of saying it's designed to look good. I'm not saying it isn't a good tyre, just that the appearance is a higher consideration than ultimate performance.

Thats not a bad price - I just think that the wheels look better when thet are set back in to the dish a little bit, but If I dont find what I need will certainly take a look at them in the flesh cheers.

Am I reading this right? Compomotive want £600+ for 4 (OK, maybe 5) 195/50/15 tyres??? That is WAY OTT. If the wheels are a "must have" then buy the wheels from them - Compomotive are expensive (don't know if a dealer would be cheaper) - but the tyres shouldn't cost more than £200-250 fitted.

Daylight robbery!! furious

The tyres are yokohama A408 - they are not a cheap tyre by any means - best price so far is from Larkspeed

I must admit, it didn't occur to me that you might be after A048's until after I posted. I'll calm down now ... paperbag

You should be able to beat £600 for 4 though.

Good luck shopping around ...

Try George Polley Motorsport. They deal with Compomotive and Yokohama.
