Im looking for a 246 Dino or maybe a 308 as a restoration project, as wrecked as you like id just love to get one rather than resorting to a kit.. a fully done one is a bit too out of reach for me at the moment, has anyone seen anything around?

cheers,
Doug.

How bad a wreck do you want to start with?. . . . . . I may know of a gt4 smile but it's going to need talent / money to restore

Speak to Karl Virdi at Verde or Nick Cartwright at Nick Cartwrights regarding a 246.

I'm afraid I don't know of any available but good luck with the whole project. Serious respect for doing something like that.

A basket case 246 will cost more to buy than a concours 308.

Thanks guys, yea iv been loking into it, found a 246 on car and classic for 36K, all complete and had 3 owners, current owner since '76! BUT it needs a full engine rebuild..SO the hunt is on for a 308 (unless i get seriously luck with a 246 where someone doesnt know what they got LOL)

Im interested in the GT4, any more info?

Would prefer a GTB but Ill take on anything, a ferrari is a ferrari after all, not that im a genious at restoration though, itll take me years but theres more pleasure in that I find. smile

There is a GT4 in my garage that has been sat there since 2004. Maybe the management company could put you in contact with the owner?

Can you post up a link for this car - I've had a look and can't seem to find it.
