After several long motorway journeys my 997 C4S needed a quite a bit of TLC. I decided to give it a little detail myself and decided to take pictures along the way, however I missed out on a few pictures so I do apologise, you'll just have to make do.

Firstly here's a few pictures before I started:

Firstly I started off by snow foaming the car using ValetPro Snow Foam.

The Snow Foam worked an absolute treat. I then washed the car using the 2 bucket method and Meguires Shampoo plus. Forgot to take a picture of this, sorry. Once I had done that I set about claying the car Using Sonus Green and Lubricant , having never done this I was a little apprehensive encase I wrecked the paint. Luckily everything went to plan. I was amazed what a difference the clay bar made, the paint was a smooth as silk when I'd finished. Again Sorry forgot pictures.

I then cleaned the wheels, using Bilberry Wheel Cleaner, fantastic stuff and then gave the wheel arches a clean to:

I then washed the car again quickly and dried it off using MicroFibre Towels. Once the car was dry I set about polishing it. I added 3 coats of Zaino Z5 (wow brilliant stuff, and hides swirl marks well). After that I added a coat of DODO JUICE Need for speed.

The next day I set about doing the interior, I shampooed the carpets Using the Vax machine then Cleaned the leather with Zaino Leather Cleaner and conditioner. Polished All the glass with Glass cleaner. Then dressed all the plastics with Poor Boys interior dressing (again very good).

Here's a few Pictures of the finished product, it looked a lot better in real life.

Nice car, and not a bad write up - 2 small points:
You didn't polish it with Z5, but sealed it, since it has no abrasives, only fillers - speaking of which, did you use ZFX in the Z5? If not, then you haven't probably given each layer enough time to cure properly.
Similar story with the NFS - strong chance it'll have interacted with the Z5, you really should have left 24 hours before using it.
That said, I'd also have suggested a proper wax to top it with, as the amount of carnauba in NFS is minimal plus the product is more a glaze with wax, and designed to sit in the pores/microvoids of the paintwork.

Sorry if I've given you a bit of a downer - not my intention, just a little education/knowledge building.
Car looks well all the same, which is what ultimately matters.

No problem, I always appreciate some advice and very often need it wink
