Before anyone gets too itchy with the "Moved" finger, more specifically I'm watching this and just thinking "Debt".

Guys clears £13k a year (which seems pretty poor return for running your own hairdressing business even if you do get to be your own boss?).

£125 on 4 pairs of pants? £5k a year on a personal trainer.

What is it with people who don't just live a little beyond their means, but clearly have no concept/grasp of reality that they piss money that they don't have, and will never have, away like this?

They are the reason for the "credit crunch"... or what I prefer to call "debt crisis". The buck stops with them. A bank can offer you all the loans and cards they have available but unless you're weak, you don't have to accept every damned offer to try to live life like a premiership footballer.

In my defence I tend to switch off when it gets into all the psychology crap, I just find it fascinating how much people can let things get so bad.
