I have their stormforce cover which was very good when the car was kept outside it is more than twice the cost of the one you posted a link too but will withstand all weathers. I don't use mine now as car is in the garage. I would suggest that if the car is kept permenantly outside that you get the more expensive one as it is completely waterproof rahter than just water resistant.

I don't think you will have any problems with even the water resistant one. What you may have a problem with is scratching on the flanks of the car.

I've had one of these for about a year now, and have stopped using it as it rubs on the bodywork in high winds.

To be fair, my parking spot is rather exposed, so I guess it has some extreme use, but I'd rather the car coped with the elements by itself than be scratched.

I've always used the Classic Additions covers, very good quality and have had no rubbing problems (oooooer) at all.

To get round the rubbing issue, I put an indoor cover on first, and then the waterproof cover on top of that.

My cover scratched the car (it was fleece lined) The car was parked by the Thames and was subject to some very high winds. i got cover zone to put an extra strap that ran front to rear to stop it lifting up.

I use a fitted indoor cover with an inexpensive waterproof cover over the top. No scuffing and dry smile.

That's a great solution, but I'm not sure why I bought something that doesn't do the job itself!

Also, I would expect that you end up having to towel down the car if it's wet before putting the covers on - not something you want to do unless you have washed the car first.

True, but I would not put an outdoor cover straight onto a wet car either, especially if it was at all grubby.
