16inch Toyo's

A friend of mine (who posts on here occasionally as Jo Williams) has just had another "issue" with his Toyo's. They have all been fitted by his local dealer (so will have been fitted properly), but within about a month of fitting a bubble appeared on 1 of the rear tyres, which he had to pay to be replaced (waiting to hear if Toyo will refund him). This morning, he has had 1 of the front tyres blow out when he made a slight excersion into the gravel at the side of the road !!

So, my question is, has anyone else had any problems with 16inch Toyo's, or is Jo just having a bad run of luck ?

(reason I ask, is I'll need new tyres in the not too distant future & was going to go with Toyo's, but I'm now having 2nd thoughts)

Got 16" on my car and no problems yet after 4 months and 4000 miles.

Felt pretty good after the pick n' mix that was on the car when i bought it

They're fine on my Chimaera too.

So far so good then - perhaps it's just bad luck for Jo afterall !

The fact that he has crashed every vehicle he's ever been in control of has nothing to do with it
