I have a 1999 model with the ford fiesta's. Where can I get the later '4 splodge' lamps? Can't see them on clever trevor or tvr power?

Many thanks!

I think Rhubarb is referring to this type

The lamps themselves are military issue but I think you would also need to get the moulding with the 4 holes that support the 4 lights as well as the perspex covers.

Clevor Trevor have the reversing lights in stock @ £46, don't appear to have any red or orange. They also supply the perpex covers with a 14 day delivery at £49 each. Towards the bottom of this page http://www.tvrspareparts.com/cars/1-cerbera-v8.htm...

At those kind of prices you're looking at £470ish without the fibreglass surrounds for the individual lamps.

I'm sure someone posted a link up once to an ebay shop who did the lamps, maybe they'll be along soon to repost it.

Regards
Simon

They look suspiciously like the military land rover ones (same size as the front indicators).

If so I've got a pair of the yellow lenses if that helps. Reds/yellows are easily available on ebay too, if I'm right about the source.

Possibly a silly question, but you apprear to have two reversing lamps - I had always assumed that there was one reverse and one fog? The others being 2 x indicators, 2 x reflectors, 2 x rear lamp/brake.

Is one of your 'reflectors' a fog?

They are military Landrover spec ones. I have a couple of spare lenses if needed - will have to check which ones.

That's where you can order the fibreparts. It is on my wishlist also.

Any idea how much they are? for the rear lights and also the front conversion?

I was behind one of those small one person road sweepers (cab type) yesterday and they have similar round lights on the back but they are LED and roughly the same size (guesstimate from a far) but it would be cool if we could size one of these up to fit into the after burner pods.

Checked this morning,
Top right lamp/brake, 2nd red fogs, indicator, and reverse. There are indeed two reverse lamps, and two fogs.

So - No Reflectors?

I hope you have a very friendly (or blind) MOT man and don’t park it in the street much, after dark!

I've just checked again and the red lenses are also very reflective when a light is shone on them, don't know if that suffices for a MOT or not. MOT due again next month so will try and find out before then. It failed when I 1st got it on a non opaque rear plate so never gave the lights a second thought.

The correct reflectors to fit into the upper inboard position on both sides can be sources from your local Fiat dealer. They are from a mid 90’s Bravo and were fitted into the bumper (You need a pair as they are handed)

Most TVR body shops will do you the conversion for about £600 or it’s DIY!
I did mine a few months ago. You need the fibreglass pods from Julian at Fiberon (Damaged TVR), Reflectors as above, a pair of Stop/Tail, a Pair of indicators, one Fog and one reverse light units that all come from a Military Land Rover or Sherman Tank!
If you go down the DIY route, let me know as I have some lights left in the garage having bought a job lot of second hand ones from an ex Army sale.

Just to throw mine in the mix:

some days i like it some days i don't. On my previous Cerbs, the 1st had the fiesta style lights, 2nd, i had the Zertec lights, the quad conversions are a poor copy. and now these - which are a version of the last to come out of the factory. I'm looking at getting some bespoke LED rings to go inside, but haven't found the time to get all the other bits on it yet that I've bought!
