Apart from the obvious....

Its my birthday in a couple of weeks & the OH is badgering me for an answer. I'll be 34, budget is probably £100-200 but if its ace & costs £20 thats fine. Recent presents include a camcorder (which has had little use) and a scalectrix (which has had even less).

We've just been to a car show/museum & are going to watch Top Gear being filmed next week so similar options are out.

What about a weekend car hire, can that be done in budget? (I get to drive Porsche's every day so would have to be something special/different). Are there any events on (comedians etc) soon in the North Bucks area? Are there any films or DVD's out that I must see?

I'm at a loss!

Try something different? I love all things car and bike related, but tend to find things relating to them as prezzies bore me a bit. the stuff I'd not normally do is the stuff I tend to enjoy more and find more memorable.

motorbike CBT (assuming you don't ride? CBT is normally enough to get people hooked hehe )
skydiving
really good bottle of scotch and a book
overnight stay somewhere nice (lake district etc)
off roading experience day
nice piece of art
a watch from werners
or failing that a trip to amsterdam doesn't cost much hehe

FWIW, here's what's on my "would like to have" list to see if it inspires...

Bluetooth car connection for ipod.
Wireless headphones for xbox gaming.
Espresso maker

I'm sure there's loads more things but they're the immediate things that I'd be asking SWMBO to look out for.

This is just down the road from you, and well in budget, so change for a slapper slap-up afterwards.

I can almost see it from my house! Not that appealing tbh. However you've reminded me there is a good place for a slap-up round the corner, red hot world buffet. Yum.

If you have to ask internet people what you want for your birthday I'd go out on a limb and suggest you don't actually need anything.

Why not get "them" (partner was it?) to donate the money to charity or save it "for a rainy day"?
You don't have to get something just because it's your birthday you know.

Just a thought.

If you really need help to choose what YOU want for your birthday, you must be one of the most self centered, spoilt aholes of all time.
Try a stint at some voluntary work with the less fortunate and then come back and see if you really need help with your present!

That’s a great idea, get your OH to buy the local bums in the park some fags and cider, then take pictures to show you!

Powerkite. Get yourself a 5 metre or bigger and you'll easily be able to do big jumps with it which is an enormous amount of fun. If not then an xbox 360 or PS3, although I guess if you haven't got one of those by now you're probably not into gaming.
What about a slam man punchbag?
In fact I haven't got a clue what you should get.

I went a step further than that and impregnated her. It took some doing and she nearly woke up a couple of times, but by god I did it.

Eddie Izzard is at the NIA in November, already got tickets down for my birthday.
A mate of mine did a driving experience in a DB9 and a V8 Vantage for £150. I'd pick the Gallardo and a spare pair of pants.

Very very boring, but for my last b'day i got a huge animal suitcase with wheels thing. Think it was under 100 notes and has been used for several flights and trips already (managed to fit all of the crap i was taking to Le Mans in it)

As the person bought it said to me "you are too tight to buy a new one yourself and your old suitcase looks like crap" which is the point of a present i guess.

Dull as dishwater, but just a thought.

Or perhaps he's just happy with what he has already.
I agree with a previous post, you should fk BR's misses dressed as tomb raider.
