Moved into new house with mates, plan is to have a large ish bbq on Saturday.

1) Is it worth going to a cash and carry to stock up with booze/food been there a couple of times and they have good offers from what it seems.

2) I have no way on actually accessing the cash and carry ie: I dont have my own business/group, would it be hard to get access?

Im in central London if anyone has any other ideas!

There was a thread about Makro meet being better then average somewhere. Might be worth having a look or go see your local butcher and ask him what he would do for x number of people.

I don't know if you have access to any but if you can get company letter heading thats usually enough to sign up. (I wouldnt possibly suggest that i know anyone who might have made some with an ink jet printer before now). They may want a minimum spend or soemthing as a start, but if enough of you go that shouldnt be a problem.

Just be careful and be aware of what the stuff goes for in supermarkets. Some stuff like bulk meat is much cheaper, but some stuff, especially in smaller portions and stuff like sides are actually more expensive that the 'cheaper' supermarkets.
