Had my annual service done on the DB9 at Derby Motor Services yesterday.
I can't tell you how impressed I was by Rick, Kay, Fraser and Ben. Excellent, friendly service that puts main dealers to shame.
Ricks' knowledge of modern Astons is superb and his willingness to spend time with every customer to explain the problems, faults and more importantly, the solutions to Aston niggles, is priceless.
He sorted out some long standing problems with my car that the main dealers have been either unwilling or unable to do. He went several steps beyond what could be described as a "standard service".
Kay & Ben kept me fed and watered with teas and ice cream whilst Rick and Fraser worked tirelessley on the car. They didn't mind me 'nosing around' the workshop and the other vehicles, which I must admit I love to do. They didn't mind me watching the work being carried out on my car, which I also love to do.
I even got to sit in a Vanquish that had been used in the publicity photos and posters for the James Bond film.
All in all a very pleasant experience and a vast difference to what I have experienced at an Aston Main Dealer, (who shall remain nameless for legal reasons!!!!).

I can thouroughly recommend DMS for all your Aston work - mine will certainly not be going anywhere else.

Thanks Rick, Kay and the boys.

Hear, Hear. Rick is excellent and as you said puts the main dealers to shame.

I will always take my DB9 to be serviced there and anything else that comes along.

Also thanks so much Rick for looking at my front bumper it is really appreciated.

Hope you are settling into your new premises now.

Cheers

Dan.

another vote from me, I have used Rick for my servicing, i had a business meeting in the midlands today,so as i was not to far away I called in after mentioning a noise, rick gave it a roadtest and his team had it on a ramp did something on the rear driveshafts, 20 minutes later after a cup of tea, no noise, no bill and on my way home,
Rick your new premises look great as do the pictures on your forum of the new garage, wasn't sure if I should post a link, it makes a nice change to be treated seriously, honestly and quickly keep up the good work,

Thank you all for your great comments, They are really appreciated, It is a team effort and with the move we have had to work harder than ever with late nights and everyone one in for whole weekends to get everything right, The lads who work for me share the same passion for the cars and it shows in there work, dedication and attitude,

We really appreciate all the owners who have chosen to come to us and without the faith and trust you put in us to look after your pride and joy, we would not be able to expand as we have, That is why we endeavour to make sure our customer service is second to non, and when something is not quite right we will go the extra mile to get it sorted,

We actively encourage people to see how we work, to explain what we do, why we do it, and how we do it,

Thanks again as it makes a major difference to know we are getting it right,

I couldn't agree more! Rick always goes that extra mile and has genuine enthusiasm for the marque. After a 300 mile drive to Goodwood, was sat in traffic on A27 when the engine stalled several times and emmission service light came on.Called Rick, who was obviously busy but gave his time to diagnose the problem, re-assure me I wouldn't have to push it the last three miles to Goodwood and how to sort it. After a few start-ups and sprints, it cleared it's self, so I could enjoy the weekend. Top man and deserves continued success in his new garage.

Main dealers could learn a lot from these comments ehh! I will be ringing you Rick once I am back in the UK as the old girl is pulling to the left at the moment and needs looking at.

Mark

PS
I second all the above comments.
