Another Stag Do Question
Discussion
I know, I know, it's been done to death but I'm struggling here!
Need stag do ideas, for early September. Ideally within about 100 miles of London but not essential. Probably only for one night, definitely no foreign travel.
Problem is that we're not the 'Gary Lager' type. Don't want most of the standard cliches; strip clubs not appropriate, there won't be any matching t-shirts with 'comedy' nicknames. As such many of the initial places (Bournemouth etc) are really out of the equation.
So, PH, what can we do? Will be about 15 of us, around 30 years old. Anything petrol related is a huge bonus (2 wheels, 4 wheels or on water). Thinking entertainment for the day and then food/decent pubs/club in the evening?
Any help very much appreciated....

How about Suffolk?
Stay at Ufford Park - half decent hotel with a golf course / driving range
Petrol based activities available include:
http://www.beaconrallykarts.co.uk/
or if dates work out, a trackday at MOD Woodbridge through
http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/jt/index.php
Good pubs in Woodbridge, and clubs available in Ipswich.
Easy train links from Liverpool Street
(God I sound like the tourist board)

We did a day out on RIBs between the Isle of Wight and the Dorset coast for a mates stag do.
Arsing about on the water with a couple of pro skippers, Cowes for lunch and then a bit more arsing about.
Great great fun.
Hmmm, that's the kind of thing that I was thinking of. Arsing about on the water with a couple of pro skippers, Cowes for lunch and then a bit more arsing about.
Great great fun.
Might have a nose into that....

Went to a stag do this weekend.
Spent the day here http://www.adventuresport.co.uk/
Then a night out in Leamington, staying at the Travelodge (Wetherspoons opposite for breakfast).
Good fun - we were 12 lads - aged 34 to 44.

That looks interesting. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost?Spent the day here http://www.adventuresport.co.uk/

Was in the same boat - however a Comedy Club bridged the age gaps on our stag very well.Any help very much appreciated....
It keeps everyone together, all sat down with plenty of beer and the laughs are guaranteed... unless you pick a duff night!
