Ok my current Girlfriend is 34 and im 25 she is 8 and half years older when you break it down into months. She keeps on saying that im her toy boy, its not offensive to either of us as its intended as a joke, but if she were to say that to someone they'd maybe dissaprove.

What would you class a "toy boy" to be? I would say at my age, if she was 15 years older, then yes, I would be, but not at 8-9 years older.

I've always worked on the basis that if your bird is older than you, you're her 'toy boy'.

I'd say she's starting to feel a bit old. Get her some eye cream and tell her she still looks lovely. To you.

You've got it the wrong way round, I'm 33 and my GF just turned 26. This is better IMHO.

Call her Mrs Robinson, then you can have the chat about she doesn't like being called that and you don't like being referred to as "Toy-boy".

Does that help toy-boy?

My missus is 8 years older than me but we look the same age (i look older than 29 and she's a young looking 37). Doesn't bother me at all. She thinks it's funny that I know nowt about 80's music which makes her feel old sometimes...

I'd say if she was more than 20 or 25 per cent older than you, you're a toyboy. If not, not.

My girlfriend is 9 years older than me, she calls me her toy boy which is correct so I have no problem with it.

toyboy noun: a young man who is an older woman's lover or partner

My definition would be a man-baby rather than a toy-boy.
