Update - CV Advice - Unemployed for last 6 months
Discussion
I have a CV, which in effect is up to date..! In that my last role was December 2008.
I have been actively seeking employment since then, attending several interviews etc etc but have been unsuccessful. When I apply for a job now, I am sending my CV out with my application - but it hasn't been updated since last year.
If a prospective employer looks at my CV, without recent details on there, I would expect them to put it on the bottom of the pile. My summary and content is OK, as I have had a number of first & second interviews over the last few months.
Does anyone have any advice as to, What to put as My current position / information. Any HR managers / recruiters..?

I'd suggest a few lines to the effect that you've been having a planned career
break, perhaps listing any skills updating that you've done. You really shouldn't
feel guilty about it. I've had three separate years off since 2003 and I just go
in and say, well that's what I wanted to do, I could afford to do it but now I'm
hungry for some action again.
