Hello Gents,

Been lurking on here for years.. but having moved to London recently I need a reliable garage / bodyshop to look after my old beemer. Nothing too major needed, but do need a few scuffs taking care of before i sell her.

Can anyone recommed anywhere in London area (i'm in Wapping)?

Any help would be appreciated.

offers welcome.. though nothing too insulting, its not the usual tat smile

1985, 635csi, sports auto, diamond black, black retrimmed leather recaro interior. new wings / full body respray / top end rebuild with munich legends a few years ago (£10k bill). stainless manifold. original TRX. 120k on the clock, full BMW / Indy history. It's basically a well looked after, maintained six that needs very little tidying. (bulb trip computer / boot springs setting / bodywork scratches / scuff done). I paid £6.5k, 2 years ago, and think I'm the 4/5th owner. Dry parked underground. A ton of receipts. MOTT & Tax til next spring. Will post pics when I get home.

Not sure I'm breaking any rules buy this.. apologies if so.

Still need a bodyshop of anyone can recommend??

I've always been happy with Abdul at Mikes Coachworks, or Jack at the unit next door (to the right as you look at Mikes Coachworks) on Leybourne Road, Camden.
Don't be put off by the look of the units - Mikes coachworks does everything from main dealer work through to classic car restorations, and Jack is an approved repairer for several insurance companies. Both will be sympathetic to your 6 series and will sort out the other items for you also.

That is gorgeous!
A proper BMW.
(I'd have those TRX off though).

I'd recommend:

http://www.phoenixmotorsport.co.uk/ (but in Camberley)

http://www.townleypanelandpaint.co.uk/ (nearer to you out East)

Have to keep Original BMW...

I've "repaired" the suspension and ditched the TRX's cool

Cheers gents, very kind.

The seats and door panels re-done in perforated leather a few years ago.. £2k worth of perforated leather to be exact! they are very special I have to admit smile

If I was to keep her then it would have to bve a set of BBS split rims from this guy http://wokke.de/ , but doesn't look likey since I've moved to London as she hardly gets any use, and I have a Ducati for play time.
