Pistonheads survey

Searched for "survey" and nothing come up.

Now seeing as I am quite happy with PH and more than willing to help you lot out to improve the site when I see this "Please help us improve PistonHeads - Take our survey" on the classified's I will give it a go.

First lot of questions are indeed about PH and maybe how you can improve it, but after that its just marketing ste and nothing to do with PH.!

This has pissed me off (only slightly) and I will not be doing any of your "surveys" again!

It isn't just "marketing ste." Most of the questions are standard qualifying questions so that we can put some of your answers into context, understand how the demographic of the audience breaks down and how opinions of the site differ between groups/ages of readers. Some of the questions ask you about your car buying habits because that's of interest to us in informing how we develop the site in the future. Frankly, as the site is funded by advertising, we also need to understand how the readership breaks down so that we can make the advertising we carry as appropriate as possible.

The really useful stuff though for me is in the bit where we've asked you "what else would you do to improve PistonHeads?" Only one question, but we've had some genuinely useful stuff from members that will be finding its way into the site.

Ultimately, of course, the decision not to enter the survey is entirely yours to make...
