Racial segregation

In my local pub I have noticed the pub is split by race, the 'blacks' sit on one side and the 'whites' sit on the other.

Is this a result of simply knowing and socialising with people that are 'of' your race or something more?

BTW we are talking about a pub in London rather than some hick town in east anglia.

Let's get the two halves of the pub joke out of the way.

A Biker walks into a bar, walks up to the middle of the bar, orders a beer, and turns around and says,

Did a few have rucksacks and beards? Come from Yorkshire on a London site seeing trip? I hear those types keep to themseleves.

Apart from the nutters I dont often seen pubs seperated by anything, normally packed.
