w124 Cabriolet

We have had this car for about 3 years and requested information regarding history from our local dealer.He says he can but never does !!!!

The service book is fully stamped but we have no invoices or record of work done , which would be nice to have.

Also trying to find full spec of the car when new, as it seems very well appointed including the Weismann hard top.

Can anyone help?

original reg no. L173 FPK but spent sometime on CG 49

Go to www.mbclub.co.uk. Under favourites you'll see a reference to a Russian VIN decoder, plug your VIN in there and you'll get a full spec list.

Thanks for that BUT it does not recognise the VIN number ?

You're going wrong with the first three digits which are just wrong. WDB is more likely correct.

You are correct re the VIN number , i took it from the registration document rather than the car it is WDB etc.

Can I get service hisory /details anywhere ?
