Sagaris on Rolling road

Has anybody put their sagaris on a rolling road, thinking of puting mine on and having it chiped, just to smooth out the delivery really but intrested in bhp also!!
do you think there will be much power improvement, what figures should i expect?
i know i'll be disapointed as it doesn't have 406bhp, would 380 be about right for a standard sag?

If you going to TVRCC castle combe trackday this Friday I will have a remap chip you can try
best option though is bespoke map at TVR Power which will give you 328bhp @ wheels
they never were 406bhp, that was just the pre-launch stuff...by the time they officially launched they were down as 380bhp anyway ...i remember well as ours lost 26bhp between the time it was specced and the time it was delivered LOL
I dont think there will be much to gain without other mods, the engine is already in a high state of tune as it is. Take a look at what the aftermarket engine builders/suppliers have to do to them to get them to a real 400bhp ...a bit more than just a remap im afraid

Nope, not necessarily. A friend of mine had one of the highest ever recorded Tuscan 4 litres with around 380bhp; that was a bog standard 2001 Red Rose, so bang on the factory claim, and I think Joospeed did the dyno test (can't quite remember, it was way back in 2001 or 2002).Most of the other dyno tests I've seen for 3.6 and 4.0 cars have been around the 340-360bhp mark, it's just the 4.0 'S' engine where they overstated the numbers.

The 2005 cars and 2006 cars had different size exhaust sytsems. They would I'm sure produce different power at a dyno, I know they certainly feel different to drive.I dont think there will be much to gain without other mods, the engine is already in a high state of tune as it is. I would suggest a carefully run in 2005 Sag (with the bigger exhaust system) with say 10000 miles under its belt (and not at 1200 miles when its stilll tight!) could well make 345 rwhp on TVR Powers Dyno after a good remap. Thats probably equates to just a bit over 400 bhp.
The best VFM mods that see positive and noticable gains are via gearbox and diff.
well got the results back today. not to happy to start, first 3 runs 317 at wheels, had a look at the map and found it wasn't in sport mode!! does this mean anything to anybody!!
now produces 331 at wheels in 33 degree heat, should be around 390 at the fly according to the chap, with cooler temp!!
What do you all think?

Mine gave 305 at the wheels at TVR Power. Another returned 307 IIRC. Both standard.Rob
Another Sag with non standard exhaust gave 325.
Unless you were at TVR Power the above figures don't really help.
