Good evening.
What drives the center gauges in the VXR Ro? Do they get the signal from the ecu via odb or are they raw analogue signals from secondary sensors? I'm thinking of replacing the two gauges with a dash3 from Race Technology, a DL1 and their odb cable. Any one else used one of these? I used a DL1 borrowed from a friend but he wanted it back. Excelent software as it logs where you've been and overlays a picture from google maps to show your track. Comments please. Has anyone made a custom center pod?

not certain about the VXR but when I looked at getting gauges for an 04 CV8 it involved a sensor module being bolted in between the oil filter and the sump so I'd imagine it'll be same in that there will be separate sensors wired to the gauges. Should be easy to run cable to the odb port if thats what one of your replacement gauges needs. Seen some attempts at custom pods for the Monaro/GTO - not great quality if being honest.
