Something weird has happened to my COD4 game. When I go into Multiplayer and then Find a Game, it brings up the message DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS however this just remains on screen for hours (I left it and went out).

The connection is on, I'm signed in etc..

Oh, one other thing, if I go to Private Match Lobby the game freezes the system up and I have to reboot.

Anyone have any ideas what's up??

Hello, this might help or it might not, but when i am downloading something on my laptop (music etc) i struggle to get online, it takes for ever. Are you downloading anything on your pc.
Good luck

PS3 of 360? there are loads of people having this problem on the PS3. IIRC rebooting the router can help.

No, not downloading anything, Internet speed is good.

It's a PS3 by the way.

Just trying to reboot router now.

With my old PS3, I never had this problem once, but with my new one it has already needed the router to be rebooted.

I've had this since I moved to BT Broadband and used their router.
Have to reboot router before I play or i always get this problem.
