For all you non-believers, if you fancy a passenger ride around Bruntingthorpe in a BEC a few of us will be there Sunday 2nd August for the Asda Charity day. I think you can pay £5 for a few laps. You can feel the lack of torque, the clonking gearchange, the bd noise, the terrible clutch, the whining LSD, wait for the gearbox to break, .........

Is that the airfield? (Never been) As I would possibly be interested. Looking into buying a car and would like to see how the BECS drive smile.

TrIcK,

I would strongly advise not to take a passenger ride with Lee. Lee might think I am crazy, but I know better.... Lee took me up the 'Col de Turini' in his car in the summer of 2008, and I am still out of breath.... Lee almost vomit when we got to the top....

@Lee: I love you driving

@TrIcK: think no longer, just do it!

I took a friend of mine out in my r1 Indy last weekend, he has a focus st3 and has had some fast cars but he was blown away by the performance and I quote "can we go back and get my eyelids?".

BTW apparently a diesel-powered 7 is accompanying us to Zolder this September.... be interesting to see how it performs on track.
