09 Golf Gti and Bluetooth and Blackberry

I have use of a works Gold Gti, my Blackberry is not working, not linking with the car.

Anyone else having this problem?

Pretty sure that blackberry phones are not compatible with factory fit phone kits. Only the new add-on "touch" phone kit or the blueconnect system works with blackberry.

Also depends if the kit is factory option rSAP kit, if so then it only works with rSAP enabled phones which seem to be most modern nokias and a few siemens phones

Yeah we have been told that now but not when spending our hard earned cash on the hands free system.

Seems odd, must be a VW issue as my BlackBerries both connect to my 56 plate A4 no trouble at all ...

Depends on the blackberry they dont support SAP and blackberry blue tooth conectivity seems patchy

Blackberrys are bit like "apple products" in terms of compatability with mainstream stuff.

Not there yet but some of the later blackberrys are getting better
