Makes you laugh doesn't it?

You can be a BMW M6 for that money.

My only guess is that he must be stuck in a time zone where the world is still in 2003.

A collector might buy it.

Still a better buy than the new ones.

You've *got* to love E39s to want to own one at M3 CSL money...

It's still an eight year old M5, albeit a very clean one.

There was a 2003 Le Mans blue car for sale recently with high 30's on the clock. Think it was £16k or therebouts. The £33k chap is definitely on another planet. I'd give him £18k for it, but no more.

At £33k, I wouldn't expect the brake fluid change light to be on!

...are there some missing pixels on the dash?

At that price for an 8 year old E39, I would expect nothing less than perfection.

Perhaps Hexagon will buy it and put on sale at £50k!

The question is how much will Hexagon bid for it, if offered to them? Nice car thoughsmile

Blimey, always thought I might have a future classic, didn't realise it had already appreciated that much... wink

Might have to sell mine, 2 previous owners, 56k miles - bidding starts at 40 grand!

Harsh & unnecessary.
He's unlikely to get that much for it, but so what ?

This car is 10k over priced..

Ok it's low mileage and a nice spec but beyond that it's not got anything to suggest it's worth such a massive premium..

Fellow who works with my Good Lady traded his 02 in.This car was mint and I mean genuinely mint.41 k miles with full Bmw Sh and the Bmw warranty. Not a scratch, ding, mark, scuff inside or out.He got £14k as a trade in.

I always think its funny when things are overpriced. I recently looked at a car that a dealer had been advertising for months (maybe 6)

Its a bit of a one off so hard to value but is priced at 10k. A good similar but standard example would probably be 3-6k. I bid the dealer £6000 & got an email back in the vein that I couldnt possibly be serious and that a serious buyer would know its worth more than 10k in parts alone (yeah right) and that he just didnt want to break it up & new it was £95,000 (yes, in 1994 15 years ago!!!)

so I left it. Its still for sale, that was a month ago. What planet are these people on. ok, so they might not need to sell them, thats their perogative but dont be ridiculous with your prices if you do want to.
