arlington road. in most films with a twist you can sometimes guess at whats coming, but this is quite a curveball. completely ruins it on the second viewing though.
I agree... was the same with The Game for me.. wanted to erase it from my brain so I could experience it again....
)Do you need a spoiler?
Michael Clayton (didn't see that coming)
Field of Dreams (even I started to well up, it's a man thing)
Oceans11 (and Clooney and Pitt should have left it there)
Jackie Brown.
Layer Cake (didn't see that coming)
Reservoir Dogs (who shot Nice Guy Eddie?)
Deer Hunter (remember the trees mickey? god bless america)
The Prestige (didn't see that coming but I saw that).

However six answers in and no Italian Job?!?!?
I never did like the end of The Italian Job. I have always thought that they should have just faded the music out and rolled the end credits over the coach driving away and fade to black before the crash. i.e. They actually get away with it.Edited by Strangely Brown on Wednesday 22 July 17:04
'Blow up'.
David Hemmings sits and watches a mime tennis game and throws them back an imaginary ball. Genious has nothing to do with anything.
'IF'
Students go machine gun crazy on their peers
'Rambo'
John Goes home "its a long road....."
'Cross of Iron'
Steiner laughs at the officer as he falls over looking for an Iron Cross to the sound of a german nursery rhyme.

Of recent movies definitely 'The Mist' made from a short story by Stephen King. A brilliant ending that really shocks. I heard on a film podcast (Mark Kermode I think) that the director was offered money by the studio to maek the ending 'more hollywood' but he turned it down. A great 'B' movie.
