I've collected together a selection of cars and owners for a rolling road session at Street Racers, Loughborough on Sunday, August 9th.

They can do 2wd and 4wd cars and the price is £35 per power run unless I can get 15+ cars, then its £25 per run.

I'd like to throw this open to everyone on here who might be interested. A local car club (Charnwood car club) got 29 cars there a few weeks ago and it looked like a good day so if you are interested please post on here.

So far attending we have

Stu - Mazda MX6 2.5 v6
Dave - Mazda MX6 J-spec
Rob - Mazda MX6 - 2.5 V6
Slater - Mitsi EVO 5

Numnuts - Ford Probe 2.5 V6
Dippy - Ford Transit
Andy - Subaru Impreza
Daves mate - Honda Integra

So theres a real mixed bag but anyone is welcome. Its a good way to see how well your car is running and where to make improvement or just for bragging rights

Feel free to show your interest, thanks

Any room for a Land Rover? I'm pretty sure that it runs lean at the top end (4.0V8 on SU carbs), so a RR run would be good to find out by how much. It will also be interesting to see how much hp is lost through the agricultural gearbox.

Everyone is welcome chaps. Have a look at what CCC turned up with a few weeks ago!

http://charnwoodcarclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo...

I've taken deposits off most people via paypal or bank transfer as its not fair on the others if 1 person lets the side down.

My email is Windy_mx6@yahoo.co.uk if anyone would like forther details or my mobile number.

Cant wait to see what turns up!

PlasticPig, i'm not sure mate but you could be right. I got them recommended from CCC but when I looked online most people were talking about their place in Leicester so maybe they have 2 branches now.

The Loughborough branch is in Quorn.

I wish....nope just a plain 80 (1.6). Maybe as many as 100 horses all of which are doing their best to escape above 5krpm.

I'd be interested in popping alone with the camera to do some photographs if people were interested?

No car to add to the mix but will be with JimexPL in the Landy Rover.

Hi lads, Gordon said he'd like to kick off around 10 but I can try and wangle it a bit earlier if theres lads that need to get away.

If any of you need to leave quick you can go 1st, i'm sure the others wont mind.
