Example sublet agreement

History is that I sublet a room in my place here. The landlord is OK about it though.

For the first time somebody has asked for some kind of agreement. She wants it not so much to secure her place in the house but rather to look after the bond. I imagine it probably won't have that much legal standing, but some kind of peace of mind.

I've had a look around the 'net and can't find anything to base it upon.

Can anybody help?

Base it on your own Tenancy Agreement and to what you have agreed with the sub tenant ie. Rent front bedroom, use of communal room kitchen,lounge @ monthly costs excl or incl. service charges, when rent is paid and what Notice is required from you to tenant and tenant to you. Get the Agreement witnessed and signed by both you and tenant.

If you pm me i can send you a Tenancy Agreement, which using Office Word you can add or delete where required.
