The Radio on my VZ ro has annoyingly never worked since buying the car earlier in the year and just produces two forms of static (am or fm), regardless of my attempts to tune it. Any ideas on where to start first to remedy the problem?. Is the arial windscreen itegrated and if so could the problem have been caused by a botched windscreen change by a previous ownner? Cd player and all other aspects seem to work fine, just nothing but static when switched to radio. Any help apreciated

would suggest pulling the radio out and reseating it. all the connections are mounted into the cage. just need 4 thin objects like screwdrivers or meat skewers to remove it.. in the 4 holes and then push out and pull.

My Radio use to crackle when the heated rear screen was on.
The rear screen had to be replaced to fix it.
