I decided I wanted some new lounging stuff for my holidays and can't be arsed to go to the shops. So I have just been mooching on the next website and have discovered they now offer mens clothing in up to XXXXXL size!

Now I am a fully paid up member of the fat man club but I only wear XXL and occasionally XL. How bloody fat does someone need to be to buy XXXXXL and shouldn't someone have told them to slim a little before they got so fecking huge?

Does this qualify as the weekly bashing a group of people thread?

Oh, sorry, I forgot - it's a gland problem, isn't it?

Judging by the size of their customers, I reckon Asda will be the first to offer clothing in MCMLXX size...

I believe a very smart and handsome poster had a rather large rant about this last month.

Next time youre in Next or some other crappy clothes store, really confuse the shop seller, when they ask what size you require, by telling them "Extra Medium"

Well I actually think men are getting smaller 'cos twenty years ago I used to always buy medium to large depending on what sort of top, but now I am XXL for most things & I am not that much bigger or heavier. There was one mens shop I was in not so long ago that had nothing in my size, I really struggle in places like river island etc. So I think blokes are getting smaller.

On another note I think men are more worried about their appearance these days & gone are a lot of beer guts. While a lot women seem to have gone the other way & don't seem to give a st about their appearance, hence a lot of fat birds these days.

clothes sizes are shrinking, I've noticed it's fashionable to look like little anorexic boys

I often wonder how you can go from medium to large!

As soon as I notice I'm getting a bit podgy, I start taking action.
