Advice for my M400
Discussion
As some of you will remember last month my clutch went on my car, I now have the engine ready to lift out (never removed an engine before and found it quite enjoyable).
Now while my car already has all the fuel-pump, pro-alloy intercooler, re-map etc and usual upgrades done to give an apparent 475bhp, however while i have the engine out i am going to send the turbo's to be refurbished, who are the best people to use and what should i expect to pay for re-furbing the two, also how much power can the standard t28's give? as i might...
...be tempted to have my gearbox strengthened, go for an upgraded clutch and valve springs so i can get the thing upto a more potent but still reliable 500+ figure,
I appreciate there are lots of opinions but i'd like info and advice from the guys who have done the above and for what company's to use that have the most knowledge and experience in doing these jobs.
Very much appreciated lads.
Regards
Graham

The people to speak to are Trevor (Yellowshed) or Adrian W. They are the only people i know of who have spent ££££'s developing the Noble with several engines, cams, turbo's etc etc plus compete in a Noble race team with great reliability and success. I'm sure they will be along soon with lots of great knowledgeable advice.
"I now have the engine ready to lift out (never removed an engine before and found it quite enjoyable)."
crikey, there are plenty of other cars that the engines are easier to remove !
i suggest a rebuilt box by the gearbox man and a remap to maximise the car that you have
if you are taking the turbo's off you could have them rebuilt, or go for bigger turbo's. Universal Turbo's did the turbo's for the Noble in the first instance

Thanks guys, spoke to chris at universal and arranged for them to collect, re-furb and upgrade them.
I did call turbo technics for a quote but they didn't fill me with confidence.
erm, does anyone know part numbers for the lamda sensors, mine both need replacing, i've heard ngk do cheaper replacements than noble too, true or false?
