Slightly different slant to the chim or V8s post.I currently own a nice mica blue with cream leather V8s and have enjoyed 3 years and every single moment. There is nothing like the power and the noise and the excitement everytime I drive it compared to my everyday Peugeot 308 diesel the trouble is everytime I go a meet or classic car show I keep waivering to a Griff especially a pre-cat 400/430 is this just a natural progression or can someone convince me not to sell her on Pistonheads in a few weeks.I know its a bit biased putting it on S forum maybe I should post same on Griff forum or maybe I just need some therapy.
Please help!!

There is a topic or two on here that talks about this in more detail but in the end it's down to personal preference. For me, if I were to have a Griffith, it would have to be a later 500.

Hi Steve,

I can understand your dilemma, have you driven a Griff? You will find it's more comfy and drives better than a V8S, but you will miss aspects of the V8S you take for granted.
When I drove a Griff 500 a few years back I couldn’t believe how quick they are, but saying that I found I got more of a feeling of speed in a V8S – strange!!

Good luck what ever you do your V8S is a lovely car, hope to see you at Knebworth.

Cheers
Andy

I have had both and have still got the Griff 500.

I would sell the Griff to get my V8S back (J2 NWS if you're out there) even though the Griff is by a country mile the faster of the 2. It also handles better, doesn't crash into pot holes and is the iconic TVR in my eyes. still want the V8S though, as it was more fun - which I can't quantify.............
