I am just about to get into a 335i and have found the car I want but it doesn't have bluetooth which I am led to believe is an important option come resale (I tend to change my cars every 18 to 24 months).

So question is, can you retrofit it into these cars and if so at what cost?? (Also, is it really that big a deal on resale - I know Nav is but, bluetooth, really!?)

What else has the car got??

If it has Logic7 sound, Dab, USB, or Nav professional then it is fairly easy to retrofit.
If it has none of the above then you need to forget it.

If you have the USB/Ipod option you probably have the bluetooth module already in the car, just a case of adding the mic and coding it in.

if you cant retrofit, i think that parrot do a bluetooth version for BMWs thats integrated into the steering wheel controls and is otherwise 'hidden'.

James - Lot and lots of BT retrofit info here http://www.e90post.com/forums/search.php if you use "Bluetooth Retrofit" and select the "UK" forums to search in.

Best make a hot drink, as you'll be there for hours reading!
