Save Wrexham FC's Ground

I don't know if this sort of thing should be included here, but my friend has set up a petition to get the local council to add the Racecourse Ground to the Local Development Plan, thus safeguarding its future.

We all like(d) the old grounds, nostalgia and all that, but new grounds have helped improve some clubs with better facilities and added revenue streams, like hotels and sport complexes. Without being unfair to Wrexham FC, they haven't exactly set the world a light in the football world, so is there a chance a new stadium with better facilities for the customer will enhance the Club? and have you seen the plans?
