i searched into getting powerflex/other branded bushes fitted to the XK, but decided against it due to creaking from the bushes over time. one why to get round it is to spray lubricant (silicon greese?). though even this doesn't fix the problem sometimes.I have had all the bushes replaced on my 1998 XJR. The car has unmodified suspension
You'll need to locate the cause of the creak - it may not be the newer bushes.
Front or rear or both? Associated with steering action? Can you replicate it by bouncing the car up and down at each corner? Soak all the suspension components with a hose then go for a drive - stopped it?
I'd have a look at the anti roll bar bushes and drop links, paying particular attention for evidence of any worn shiny metal, split gaitors on the ball joints or rust stains on the bushes.
It might be a shockabsorber. If that's the case there's a chance you'll be able to feel it binding if you remove the road wheel and jack the hub up. You may have a dry ball joint which will soon get worse and be easy to find once its worn enough to get loose
Providing you can't actually see anything wrong and it really is just creaky bushes, rather than risk spraying with Silicon - it'll really make you day just perfect if you get it all over the discs and pads
- you might be able to work some Keenol, that's the white waterproof grease, not the usual LM stuff, into the bushes and mountings. Alternatively a through spraying with Waxoil usually works wonders with suspension noises that you can't trace

Had the car in and it looks like the creaking sound is coming from one of either the upper or lower "seats / platforms" that the suspension spring actually sits in. I am assuming that these are some sort of rubber ring type thing and when I had the bushes replaced the spring may not have been seated accurately and therefore the rubber may have been worn through. Decided to locate the parts before dismantling the suspension.
It also looks like I may have to go to the Dealer for these bits as well.
