I'm a big fan, have them all on DVD but can't bring myself to open the clear plastic in case it gets dirty 
Highly underrated series though, shame it's hidden away on Hallmark.
It's weird when you see him in other things, Monk is such a strong character it's hard to accept him as anything else.

Another thumbs up for it.
BBC2 started to show it on Saturday afternoons, but they would show it for a couple of weeks, then it would vanish for a month then a couple more would be shown. I don't think they ever finished showing season 2. I now mysteriously find each new episode on my PC the day after it shows in the US
The final season (season 8) starts in the US in a couple of weeks.

The final season (season 8) starts in the US in a couple of weeks.
They have had a couple of funny but frustrating scenes, one in NY when him and Capt are tryignt o have a conversation and some construction worker keeps starting the jackhammer every time he speaks, and he has to start again.....simple, but really funny and it goes on FOREVER!
Similar thing in the episode when he is a juror and he sees a body in the dumpster from the deliberation room.... he's calling down to Natalie about who it is and she replies "No ID", he just keeps repeating "No idea??" but in a slightly different tone each time! hahahahaha, I was wetting myself. Real silly, but just real funny, cos he is such a plank!
Oh and Natalie for me over Sherona
