i brought a phone on ebay, recieved it with no problems, but i dont like, so i thought i will sell it on ebay.
so i put it ebay and a first time buyer won it, then sent me fake paypal email, saying funds are waiting in my paypal account, which it wasnt, so i went to email the winning buyer only to find he is now a 'no longer registered user' and im left with a £20 ebay fee, so now ive re-listed the phone for a 24hr auction, only to find with 18 hours left that i cant find my phone any where on the site apart from 'my ebay' where it says its active, so if no one can see my item for sale no one is going to bid leaving me with another £20 bill of ebay fees. ive email ebay 3x and had no reply.

will i get back my first £20 fee as the buyer is no longer registered, and if my auction ends and no one can view it will i get back my second £20 ebay fee, or have i just lost £40 and stuck with a £150 phone. thanks

£20 ebay fee's each time you list? That's where you are going wrong right there.

You can only usually relist for free once an unpaid item strike has been issued which usually takes about 3 weeks I think or it was the last time I had to do it so it looks like your already £20 down on listing fees.

Also newly listed items do seem to take a few hours before they appear some times. I know ive listed cars before and its taken 3hrs or so. Have you tried refreshing the page ctrl F5

If there's a lesson to be learnt from this, it's to ignore the emails!

Check on the 'My eBay' page to see if the payment has been made. If still in doubt, check the PayPal account as well.

Yeah, because £40/£150 is only pocket change!
