I'll kick off:

Sat in an office in Oxford, working on a bid document (words and pricing for the IT bit of a non IT bid), deadline 5pm so no slacking today. Planning lunch with the colleague I got a lift from this morning (in a big comfy Peugeot, change from my hot hatch noise machine) at the bar/restaurant next door that has embraced the credit crunch wholeheartedly and you can now get fine cuisine for a fiver (the place is now too busy tbh and they tell me they're making more money). Where would I be...having a long and relaxing lunch with my wife and baby, followed by an afternoon blast in an R500 across Surrey/Hants/Wiltshire's finest roads, yeah it looks like it might rain but who cares smile

Currently sat in an office in Nottingham trying to get my head around some SDLT returns and Land Registry forms. banghead

Would rather be (other than the blatently obvious "anywhere else but here") either in the pool working on my free style swimming or on a long slow run in the sun before a pub lunch with friends and a lazy afternoon doing not a lot.

But anyway, back to those returns...*sigh*

i am:

sat in an office on a huge industrial site in north lincs, sat chewing the fat with colleagues/browsing PH as our boss is in a meeting discussing how many of us in the department are going to be made redundant.

i would rather be:

at home with a big redundancy cheque, finishing renovations, and planning a RTW trip.

The definition of irony.... saying that there will be no slacking today due to deadline and then posting about where you would rather be on PH?

I'm in Antrim, browsing PH and also trying to figure out how to spend £1m on AV equipment for the new training suite we're getting built.

Currently designing software near Bolton.

If I could be elsewhere...so many choices! Snowboarding, surfing somewhere nice and sunny, (with the darling wife obviously) or in the garage tinkering with my semi-built 7 would be top choices.

I'm sat in my home office on the Isle of Wight reading PH with crappy property programmes on the TV in the background. My mum has just dropped off a fresh crusty loaf and some free range eggs and dry cured bacon from the local farm so I'm off downstairs to make two huge bacon and egg sandwiches after which I'll take the dog for a walk round Bembridge harbour and St Helens duver. Tomorrow I plan a bit of boating round the solent.

To be honest I'm quite happy where I am today! smile

Currently sat in bed, music channel on TV and surfing t'web, contemplating what to do with the rest of my day/weekend!

Where would I be, driving an M3 convertible around our roads, into France and down to Italy, with the girlfriend in the passenger seat!

I'm at home in Manchester, surfing PH amongst other pages of the internet. I'm "on strike" at the minute and mulling over my future plans.

I was supposed to be in Thailand this month but something came up that made me choose to stay here.
Think I ought to rebook the flight now though...

Rackmount AV system with DTS surround sound and a long throw projector? smile

I'm sitting in the office applying SQL updates to one of our servers whilst surfing PH and playing with the bezel on my watch; talk about multi-tasking! Although I think I'll finish at 2:30pm and have a POETS day smile

I'd rather be abroad somewhere where the yellow orb in the sky appears for longer than 20 minutes at a time, or out cleaning my car - I came back with most of the Auto Glym collection from Halfords (I know, I feel dirty) last night!

I am sitting at home (half way between Edinurgh & Glasgow) feeling fed-up as i've just finished going through the recruitment sections of the Herald & Scotsman newspapers and there is isn't anything I have experience with.

I'm just about to take my daughter along to see her gran.

If I could be elsewhere i'd choose either back at my old job or working somewhere new while the Mrs stayed home to look after Neve.

Why use the paper and not the internet?

Sat in work on a crap industrial estate in Cardiff, counting down the minutes till 1.00 as it's half day today.

Would rather be on a windy beach, watching my (nearly 2 year old) daughter laughing and giggling like a loon as she jumps in and out of rock pools. Followed by a hearty lunch and a pint.

Which may well be exactly what we will do this afternoon, if the heavy rain stays away.

Where/what am I doing? About to meet a friend for lunch and a lazy afternoon. In London.

If I could be elsewhere? About to meet a friend for lunch and a lazy afternoon. Along the French Riviera.

I've just got off shift and am sat in Stavanger port... Was going to go out, but could not be arsed, as I've been up and down the bloody crows nest all day running cables. Weater is OK, and the view is stunning. I'd much rather be arranging my imminent relocation to Bulgaria!

Sat in a satellite office between South Ken and Sloane Sq. tube stations, currently dodging the rain and wasting time until two further meetings later today. I also have a heavy work load planned for the weekend, well I haven't but the OH has for me.

I would rather be back on that lovely little beach/cove I was in last week in Cornwall. (Poldhu Cove) first time for ages I've been able to just build a two tier sand castle with a moat by diverting the run off water from the back of the beach. That and fly a kite for hours. My son was well impressed.

A lovely family day at the beach.

Sat in an office in South East London working on an ITT for a potential client. Taking time out to scan PH and have a bite to eat.

Would love to be laying on a beach with Mrs RM in the Mexican Gulf Coast up by Naples in Florida.
